The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the substantial quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high amount of clients/beneficiaries to sassa status access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the sassa status check area on a daily basis. The support issue developed for intervention ordeals a high influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to enable the servicing of all buyers and maximize usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
